napolitano says there was a ping. that bothers me that they're not on the same page. i'm not even judging them. but as a person who is an expert in leadership, what is wrong with the phrase, we don't know yet? >> the answer is, first of all, an acknowledgment the system didn't work. that would be good for all of us because then we'd realize they're going to do something to fix it so we don't repeat this again. then secondly, look, afterwards everybody runs for cover and everybody points fingers at everybody else. that's understandable. but there should be a serious nonpartisan, nonpolitical investigation of this so that we find out, just because they're swamped with work, which is possible, or because specific things weren't done. >> gretchen: let's talk about what the american public feels now. 91% said they were satisfied with the way law enforcement handled the investigation part of it. now they're also saying what's top of mind even after these bombings? it turns out it's still the economy. as the number one thing, economy and jobs, 42%. what do you make of that?
